STEVEN DUFF bagged a brace as Ashford saw off South Park.
The hosts started brightly and took a third-minute lead when Duff cut across the area to make it 1-0.
South Park responded well though, levelling through Alex Brefo. The remainder of the first half was pretty even until the stroke of half-time when Ashford had a goal disallowed for offside.
The second half started off very even, with both sides looking to get forward. It was Ashford who retook the lead on the hour, captain Matt Bunyan heading in at the far post.
South Park should have equalised late on...
