A CLASH between two leading contenders at Imperial Fields saw Waltham Abbey move into second place after extending their 100 per cent record to three matches.
The only goal of a hardfought contest came after 14 minutes from the penalty spot, when Jason Hallett was pulled down in the area by Nathan Daly and stepped up to slot his kick past Jack Ross.
Tooting will feel they should have been level by the break as they fashioned a nice move involving several players.
