NATHAN HICKS’ double ensured that the Ives return from Covid isolation was a winning one but the previously unbeaten Reds made life very hard for themselves.
Kieran Donnelly foolishly pushed Marc Richards in the face to earn himself a straight red card in only the third minute. Going down to 10 men did not prevent the visitors going in front as a Jordan Clement’s pot shot from 25 yards was deflected past Martin Conway in the home goal.
