WILL DAWES’ 90th minute penalty ended any hopes of a Royston comeback against ten-man Stratford who had Kynan Isaac sent off midway through the second half.
The Bards got off to the best possible start when, after just three minutes, Janaai Gordon headed into the bottom left corner from Jack Self ’s cross.
Stratford failed to capitalise further from their fast start and let Royston back into the game as the half continued.
