IN a performance in which Weston-super-Mare did everything right except put the ball in the net after hitting the woodwork three times, it was Gosport Borough who took all three points from a narrow victory.
The first half was a fairly even one, with Weston going closest to scoring.
Dayle Grubb and Lloyd Humphries both hit the woodwork with their attempts, while Dan Wooden had a shot saved by Luke Purnell and Scott Laird headed a Grubb corner narrowly wide of the target.
