■ NEEDHAM Market let a 2-0 lead slip as their wait for their first league win of the season continues.
Needham were by far the better side for the first hour. It took less than eight minutes for the home side to have the first chance as Ben Fowkes drove forward into the box only to see his low shot well saved. Byron Lawrence meanwhile saw his audacious curling strike tipped over the crossbar.
Clever play from the Marketmen almost produced the opening goal after 24 minutes as Jose Santa squeezed a low shot through but the keeper was behind it. The chances kept coming...
