MORRISON’S ON TARGET TO SNATCH LATE WINNER

TIVERTON Town kept up their unbeaten record against Hendon with a late winner in the Silver Jubilee Park sunshine.
In truth, neither team deserved to win or lose, but Louis Morrison’s delicious 25-yard strike into the bottom corner saw the points going to the Devon side.
Bad traffic meant Tivvy arrived late and the game kicked off after 3.15.
Maybe that explained their slow start because, in the eighth minute, a through ball from Christian Smith released Joe White, who beat the offside trap and fired home from a narrow angle.
