JUST when you think you’ve seen it all in the rich pageantry of football, the game delivers a curve-ball.
Straight from Boro’s kick off, Kings Langley keeper Alfie Marriott dropped the mightiest of clangers by scampering just outside his area and picking up the ball when there was no real need, resulting in a first-minute straight red card.
With no sub keeper on the bench for Kings, Marriott was replaced between the sticks by left-back Gary Connolly who had to endure a 90 minute chorus of ‘shoot’ from the home ...
