THE spoils were shared in a dour contest at New Cuthbury.
The hosts started brightly, in the opening few minutes with Jack Torniainen blasting just wide following smart work from Curtis Young and Dan Bartlett down the right flank.
A raking ball over the top found Bird sneaking in behind the Wimborne defence, leaving him one-on-one with Lewis Gunstone-Gray, who made a strong stop.
Down the other end, Bartlett cut in from the left and fizzled a shot which troubled Jacob Adams, the stopper gathering on his second attempt.
