ROYSTON’S inconsistent season continued as Peterborough deservedly took all three points to cement their position in the playoff places.
With just eight minutes on the clock Royston’s Ed Asafu-Adjaye fouled Lamine Kaba Sherif in the box, with the penalty emphatically despatched by Daniel Lawlor.
Royston responded with a Ronnie Henry header being well saved at his near post by Peter Crook, but it was the Turbines who always carried the greater threat going forward.
