Berko frustrate in-form newbies

STAMFORD and Berkhamsted drew a blank at a blustery Zeeco Stadium.
Berko started brightly and Nathan Frater stung the palms of Dan Wallace with a rasping shot, whilst Ricky Miller had a shot deflected wide after good work from Ollie Brown-Hill down the wing.
Stamford soon got into their stride too and Jimmy Blunden saw headers from a Joe Burgess and Connor Bartle crosses go wide.
Kyal Williams was a thorn in Stamford’s side all afternoon and his free kick took a deflection that Wallis did well to adjust to pluck it out the air.
