■ HUGO Sobte produced an outstanding performance in the Ascot goal to earn his team a point.
The best chance in the early stages fell to Rovers striker Conan Torpey but his close-range effort sailed over the crossbar.
Harry Grant opened the scoring for the Yellas in the 30th minute when Usman Lalustani offloaded the ball to him and he rifled his effort into the bottom corner.
The second half started slowly with neither team creating any chances, but Rovers grew into the half and forced Sobte to make some incredible saves.
