THE Curfews proved too strong for hosts Ashford Town with Gianluca Botti netting twice in a good local away day outing.
Chertsey were the stronger right from the kick off, dominating Ashford in the opening few minutes and taking the lead as early as the fifth minute. Strong pressure ended with a ball to Botti, who headed home from close range.
Ashford grew into the game as the half went on but couldn’t fashion any chances to test Nick Jupp in the Chertsey goal.
