NEW Alvechurch manager Jimmy Fry has praised outgoing boss Ian Long but added it was time for the club to move forward.
The 28-year-old former Birmingham City youngster hung up his boots at the end of last season following a short spell with Rugby Town, helping them win promotion to the Northern Premier Midland Division. He also played for Stratford Town, Tamworth, Leamington and Bromsgrove Sporting while coaching some of Birmingham’s academy sides.
