RAYNES Park were quick off the mark at home against Northwood.
The home side opened the scoring when Tim Obisanya cut the ball back from the right goal line to Carl Mcallister who slotted low from seven yards after 12 minutes.
Vale spurned chances to go further ahead, missing from close range and hitting a post twice in the last five minutes of the first half.
