STAMFORD and Leamington ground out a fairly mundane draw at a very wet and soggy Zeeco Stadium.
The Daniels started the game brightly. James Blunden had a header from a corner deflected wide. Then, good link-up play between Tom Siddons and Lee Shaw saw the former’s shot brilliantly saved by Callum Hawkins.
The goalkeeper then produced two more good saves from Siddons and Shaw, with Stamford struggling to find their killer instinct in front of goal.
