ON the 14th anniversary as Leamington manager, Paul Holleran felt that his side were not at their best, but was satisfied that they had done enough to earn a point against a good Leiston side, who showed just why they have been one of the most consistent in the division over the past few seasons.
Leamington hit the front on 13 minutes. Jack Lane arrived at the far post to meet Cally Stewart’s right wing cross with a cushioned first time volley, giving Sam Donkin in the Leiston goal no chance.
