HALESOWEN’S Todd Parker and Caine Elliott claimed their first goals for the club to overcome league leaders Mickleover.
The frost-free Grove pitch was protected with covers all week, and Mickleover thought they’d taken a 20th-minute lead when Oliver Greaves robbed Luke Redfern and squared for new signing Leon Clarke to turn home, only to be ruled offside.
The Yeltz snatched a 33rd-minute lead after Ryan Wynter flicked back for Parker, and his deflected shot crept past goalkeeper Oliver Bosworth.
