HALESOWEN completed a local derby double over Stourbridge with a narrow victory in front of a bumper crowd of 3,150.
Stourbridge created two early chances in a battle against their local rivals as Jessy Bavanganga flashed a free header wide from Brendon Daniels’ fourthminute corner and Daniels was then denied in front of goal after Jack Fletcher did well.
The Yeltz started to seize the initiative towards the interval and a 38th-minute free-kick from Richard Gregory was easily collected by goalkeeper Charlie Price.
