PAUL Holleran celebrated his 700th game as Leamington manager with a welcome three points – but his Brakes side had to work hard to defeat a Hitchin Town side whose wretched run of results continues.
There was added excitement around the stadium as the BBC cameras were present, along with presenter Mark Clemmit, to film a piece on what is a remarkable achievement in the modern day game for their Football Focus programme, to be broadcast next Saturday on Non-League Day.
