THIS top-four contest ended goalless in front of a crowd of over 900 at the Ray Mac Stadium.
Merthyr will consider it a valuable point gamine while the home team will be frustrated by dropping points.
The first half started with both sides prowling with some smart play but neither side created clear opportunities.
Whites were scared when Merthyr worked the ball in the box and relieved to see a sharp shot cannon off the inside of a post only to bounce along the line before being cleared.
