GOSPORT moved up to second place after recording an emphatic victory over relegation- threatened Didcot at the Loop Meadow.
The scoreline indicates a predictable rout, but the reality was that without Gerson Da Costa Ramos’ contribution, Boro probably would not have won the game.
Didcot started brightly and Adam Learoyd came closest to breaking the deadlock with a header that flashed just wide of a post.
Gosport were having to soak up the pressure before taking the lead against the run of play.
