STAMFORD maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a gritty win over a strong Stourbridge, leaving them the early pace setters at the top on maximum points.
The Daniels started well and had a good chance after only a few minutes. Harry Vince, tenacious in midfield, took a loose ball and headed to Lee Shaw, whose shot was tipped wide at full stretch by Oliver Taylor,
The ensuing corner was cleared to Jordan Cooke who unleashed a piledriver that Taylor palmed over.
