A CHRIS Hussey own goal was all that separated Stratford and Spalding at the end of a game that struggled to engage a sizable home crowd.
It was the hosts who had the best chances of a forgettable opening half, the first falling to Dan Vann after 31 minutes who connected with a Hussey free-kick only to be denied by a goal-line clearance from Dan Lawlor on his Tulips’ debut.
