ASHLEY Chambers’ first-half brace helped Barwell take another step towards safety with a vital win over St Ives Town.
The Canaries registered back-toback victories for the first time since October to open up a six-point cushion over the bottom four.
The hosts took the lead against the run of play after 27 minutes. Kane Richards powered his way down the right before crossing for Chambers to nod in from six yards.
