TIVERTON Town aided their hopes of avoiding the drop with a much-needed three points against Swindon Supermarine yesterday afternoon.
Two sides struggling for form got off to a scrappy start.
For the first 30 minutes, there was not a shot on target. Indeed, both teams were struggling to retain any possession on a challenging surface.
After 42 minutes a cross from the right struck at goal by Tivvy’s Asa Hall bobbled wide. That was the sum total of efforts on goal.
