TEN-MAN Halesowen claimed a point thanks to an excellent rearguard action to deny battling Ives with skipper Ryan Wynter their star winning everything thrown into the box.
Wynter’s centre back colleague Jamie Willets was the man dismissed in the 18th minute when he scythed down Benji Mensah just as the speedy wing back was bursting clear through the centre of the pitch.
The decision was a little controversial as George Munday was running onto the loose ball.
