WITH 90 minutes on the clock, Leon Lobjoit muscled his way through the tiring Lowestoft defence to blast the winning goal that confirmed the Trawlerboys’ relegation.
Lowestoft, though, had proved worthy opponents for the table-topping Eagles. The first half had seen Bedford with plenty of possession but couldn’t find a way through the solid home backline and the few chances that came their way were wasted by some woeful finishing.
