BOTH teams had to settle for a draw on the opening day, in a sunshine drenched Victory Road.
The match started well for Leiston, with Adam Mills and Seb Dunbar testing the visiting Daniel Platt in the away goal.
But the first goal came after 13 minutes when Joao Rangel did well down the Blues right to cross into the box and the unfortunate Jak Hickman put into his own net.
