GLOUCESTER City started the season superbly as they overcame Gosport Borough.
Harry Emmett grabbed the first goal of the new season after being played past the backline smartly in the ninth minute. If that wasn’t enough, his goal was complemented a minute later by Joe Hanks’ successful penalty after King Baidoo was brought down.
In the 37th minute, Elis Watts beat his man and got a fine cross in for in-form Hanks to fire home smartly for the game’s third goal.
