A WELL-WORKED first half effort from Owen James proved enough for Stratford Town to claim the spoils in an entertaining match and climb clear of the relegation places.
The hosts started the better with Josh Roney having a header blocked in front of goal and Jack Storer seeing an effort saved by keeper Marcus Garnham inside the first eight minutes.
