WALTON & Hersham maintained their spot at the top of the Southern League Premier South table as they defeated Wimborne Town in a tight affair.
It was a positive start from the Swans and they almost went ahead after just five minutes. Johl Powell was played into the box and attempted to take the ball round Cameron Plain, but the Wimborne keeper got down well to smother.
