Miles makes mark as Marketmen triumph

NEEDHAM Market recorded their second win within a week with a hard-fought victory over Alvechurch.
A first-half clinical strike from Ryan Miles was the difference, as Needham rose to third in the table.
After Jonny Ngandu fired an early low strike wide for 15th-placed Church, the Marketmen went close with the first major chance after 22 minutes.
Great football saw Hammond find Cowling, who skipped past his man, but fired just wide.
