STAMFORD made it three wins on the bounce with a gritty win over a very good Needham Market.
Needham were the stronger side in the first half and had a good early chance, Jake Dye picking out Joe Neal at the far post, but he could only guide the ball wide.
Tommy Smith was next to try his luck when given space 25 yards out he unleashed a piledriver.
Tom Jackson was equal to it, getting down at full stretch to push the ball round a post.
Reggie Lambe had a free kick that hit the wall and was eventually scrambled away by the home defence.
