A DAN SWEENEY header at the start of the second half was enough to hand Worcester City the spoils over their in-form visitors.
There had been little to choose between the sides in a tactical opening 45 minutes other than a Brandon Smalley corner hitting the outside of the post.
But the breakthrough came just 40 seconds after the break when a long throw was not dealt with by the Stratford defence and Sweeney’s close-range header flew past keeper Jake Weaver.
