A LAST-GASP winner after both sides missed penalties made sure that Potters Bar ended the decade on a high, while Wingate, who have had an eventful ten years, finished on a low.
The home side took the lead early on when Olu Akinsanya turned well in the box and laid the ball off for new signing Bilal Sayoud to fire home in the third minute. The hosts’ lead was to last only 15 minutes, however, as Keegan Cole hit a stunning shot from the edge of the box to level the scores.
