And despite being reduced to ten men 13 minutes after taking the lead, the visitors left with all three points.
The Scholars had the edge in an entertaining first half and should have gone ahead just on the half hour when Ben Ward-Cochrane broke clear to cross for Josh Hutchinson and he set up Brad Sach whose goal-bound shot was well saved by Amadou Tangara in the Rocks’ goal.
