■ WHITEHAWK took advantage of the severe slope on the home pitch and had more of the attacking play without really troubling Matte Pierson in the Grinstead goal.That changed in the 17th minute when Grinstead needlessly gave the ball away in midfield and it led to a break on the left wing for Whitehawk.The ball reached Jauvan Splatt who cut inside on his right foot and fired an unstoppable shot high into the far top corner. For the start of the second half Grinstead made a couple of changes that gave them a lot more of the ball in the attack...
