■ CORINTHIAN saw off Hastings United at Gay Dawn Farm.
The hosts should have gone ahead in the second minute after Emmanuel Oloyede was fouled but Jack Mahoney blasted over from the spot.
Corinthian were wasteful in front of goal and were punished by Hastings on the stroke of half-time, as a longrange effort from Ryan Worrall deceived Aiden Prall and trickled over the line.
