■ GREAT Wakering lifted themselves out of the bottom three with a valuable three points after victory over fellow strugglers Romford.
All three goals came in the first half with Rovers dominating throughout.
The first was scored by Billy Harris after a neat onetwo with Ash Nzala on the edge of the box.
Man-of-the-match Nzala picked up a goal of his own five minutes later to double Rovers’ lead and they made sure of victory with ten minutes still to play in the first half when Martin Tuohy got Rovers third.
