■ GREAT Wakering Rovers took all three points on the road with a victory at Maldon and Tiptree.
Rovers’ first goal came from Jake Gordon after 17 minutes with a penalty that shot-stopper Tommy Dixon-Hodge got his finger tips to, but couldn’t keep out.
The second, just two minutes later, came as Martin Tuohy managed to get free from his defender to flick on a cross into the back of the net.
Maldon’s goal came from Scott Kemp after 37 minutes, but Rovers managed to hold on to take all three points.
