■ BRACKNELL Town followed up their impressive midweek away win over Guernsey with victory over Ashford Town (Middx) at Bottom Meadow.
The visitors made things difficult for The Robins early on by sitting deep and defending resolutely but once Dave Tarpey fired home his ninth goal of the season just past the half-hour mark the points only looked to be going one way. Robins’ centre half Temi Eweka doubled the hosts lead, smashing the ball home after a scramble in the box.
