■ MALDON and Tiptree took all three points after this five-goal first-half thriller – which saw a goalless second period.
The home side’s Al-Amin Kazeem put Romford in front after a horror back-pass trickled over the line, before Scott Kemp levelled.
Shomari Barnwell put Maldon in front after 32 minutes, before Romford got their second through Jacopo Gatti after 33 minutes.
The home side then scored the winner after 45 minutes, with Charlee Hughes finding the net.
