■ DEREHAM started sloppily on a cold day in Heybridge, with a stray pass across the box finding the home side’s Dan Walker, who tucked it beyond keeper Elliot Pride in the opening five minutes.
The visitors’ equaliser arrived after 12 minutes, though, through Toby Hilliard.
An eventful first-half soon saw another goal through Walker, who grabbed his second in the 27th minute.
Heybridge created further chances in the second-half, which had fewer goals but the same level of excitement.
