CANVEY Island fell to their third consecutive one-nil home defeat, going down against Stowmarket Town at Park Lane.
After a lifeless first half, the visitors were reduced to ten men shortly after the restart, when experienced midfielder Erkan Okay was shown a second yellow card for a foul on the halfway line.Despite this, Stowmar-ket scored the only goal of the game after 66 minutes after a counter-attack down the right wing.
