■ EAST Grinstead started the better of the two and could have gone ahead early but for Billy Collings in the Heath goal deflecting a shot onto his bar and away. Grinstead were doing most of the attacking and should have made their chances count but as the half wore on Heath got more into the game.
Grinstead started to have the better of things and after 70 minutes their best attack of the game released Alex Battle down the left and a perfect pass into the box was met by Richard Pingling who swept the ball into the top corner.
