THERE was no new manager bounce for returning Boro boss Paul Martin as Brentwood took all three points and extended Romford’s winless run to 13 in the league.
Romford made the worst start possible when, after just three minutes, Boro were pushed back and keeper Robin Ruston’s clearance was blocked by
Ashley Nzala and the ball trickled into the net.
Christian Adu Gyamfi ought to have equalised when he latched onto Justin Bailey’s cross, but delayed his shot and Brentwood keeper Bowles blocked.
