CANVEY Island thrashed struggling Hullbridge in the most convincing fashion
With just two minutes on the clock the visitors found the lead through Evans Kouassi, who had a simple task of heading home from a corner.
Despite the final score, Hullbridge did initially show some fight to equalise through Tony Stokes, whose fine finish gave the hosts unforeseen hope with six minutes gone.
That hope was soon crushed, however, with another goal from Kousassi, whilst further strikes from Elliott Ronto and Matthew Price put the visitors out ...
