■ DEREHAM gained three valuable points with a solid win over Romford.
Toby Hilliard got the opener in the 25th minute when he nodded in Rhys Logan’s cross.
The Magpies continued to have all the possession but their forward play needed to be more to feet with the wind ending several moves.
Dereham won a free-kick 25 yards out in the 74th minute.
