BURY Town got the season off to a winning start thanks to Cemal Ramadan’s goal against ten-man Hashtag.
The hosts made their intentions clear in the first minute, with Cruise Nydazayo firing a shot from outside the box that had Anthony Page palming over the bar.
In the 41st minute, a clumsy challenge from Hashtag’s Perry Kiangebeni on Lee Watkins saw him collect a straight red card and both keepers picked up a yellow card in the melee that ensued.
